Students who receive financial aid in any form, will have an Award Letter with details of amounts credited to their account for each term. These can include grants/gift aid [e.g. Pell, MAP, Access to Excellence, Student to Student, Gateway, President’s Award], and internal and/or external scholarships. All of these may be applied to Study Abroad. Tuition waivers are not applicable. Enter the totals for each category below.

In addition to institutional grants/scholarships, resources that can be applied to the cost of studying abroad can include automatic grants for specific programs. These will be on the program-specific budget sheet created by the Study Abroad advisor. There are also multiple competitive need- and merit-based scholarship opportunities ranging from $500 to $10,000. As applicable, these should be entered below. Financial aid loans will be determined by that office based on the program budget sheet. All these calculations will yield an ESTIMATE of your funding resource balance.
