Download iCal FileMilitary veterans are excellent candidates for many of UIC’s study abroad opportunities and there are some unique funding resources to help you afford a study abroad experience! In this session, we will share information about how your VA benefits may be applied towards a credit-bearing study abroad program and explore some other funding resources. We will focus on two scholarship opportunities: The Gilman International Scholarship, which is a scholarship for Pell-eligible students, and the Gilman-McCain Scholarship, which is for child dependents of active-duty service members.
