About
Ethan is a Peer Advisor in the Study Abroad Office at the University of Illinois Chicago. He helps students discover the next step of their academic career abroad. From full semesters studying at universities abroad, to faculty-directed programs, even internships or research, Ethan believes that there is a program abroad for everyone. He is a great resource for students who may not know what to expect from study abroad, whether in the application process or upon their arrival.
Ethan joined the Study Abroad Office in September of 2025. He is in his third year of studying Marketing as well as Information and Decision Science. He studied abroad through IES at the University of Sydney, where he became a member of the University Student Union to advocate for opportunities for international students.
Through his experience abroad, Ethan has found a passion for experiencing unique cultures in both an academic sense and a day-to-day. He became a Peer advisor with the goal of helping others through the unique experience that study abroad offers.
