About
Emily Joined the Study Abroad Office as a Peer Advisor in October of 2022. She is currently a junior with a double major in History and Classical studies, and a minor in Religious studies. Emily participated in UIC's Italian Language, Culture and the Arts in Rome, Salerno and Siena program. This program is a faculty-directed program that focuses on the Italian language and culture. This experience has enhanced Emily’s ability to advise fellow students as they navigate their study abroad experience.
Emily serves as the first point of contact for students interested in studying abroad. In addition, she assists with outreach initiatives by creating social media content as well as participating in panels and representing the Study Abroad Office at campus events.
She is a great resource if you are interested in getting a student’s perspective on the study abroad process and what to expect when you go abroad.
