This program will provide a unique opportunity to students to use Rome as their classroom.  The program will focus on art and architecture in Rome during the early modern period, encompassing examples from c.1450 to c.1700. The interest of the program is that it will offer on site study of painting, sculpture, architecture and urban design.  Students will visit and explore site-specific artistic interventions ranging from institutional [religious and secular] to residential buildings and the works of art that enhance their meaning and function. Summer 2025 is the Jubliee year or Holly year which is a significant catholic event ocurring every 25 years. Students will have an incredible opportunity to witness Jubiliee year events while living and studying in this eternal city.
