Attend this information session to learn about the new College of Engineering faculty-directed study abroad program being planned for Summer 2025: Entrepreneurship in Augmentative, Medical, Smart Sensing, and Wearable Technology in Europe.
This course is designed to introduce students to Europe's entrepreneurial landscape in sensing and wearable technologies, specifically in the fields of assistive, medical, and augmentative devices. Europe is a dynamic hub for entrepreneurship in these areas, and this program aims to foster innovative and entrepreneurial thinking among students. Participants will visit leading academic and tech spaces in London, U.K. and Milan Italy, where they will learn directly from industry innovators. At the conclusion of the course, students will develop and present an innovative idea of their interest, creating a roadmap for its development and marketing. The program also emphasizes the importance of building industrial connections and networks, providing students with valuable opportunities to engage with professionals in their field of interest. This immersive experience is designed to inspire the next generation of tech entrepreneurs and equip them with the preliminary skills and knowledge needed to embark on the global market.
