Learning from Puerto Rico: The Intersection of Climate Change, Politics, and Economics– Info Session

Explore the intersections of climate change, politics, and culture in Puerto Rico! Join us for an information session about the Learning from Puerto Rico program, where students will engage in fieldwork, discussions, and hands-on learning throughout the Puerto Rican archipelago.

This immersive experience includes visits to diverse ecosystems, research centers, and local communities to study the impact of climate change, environmental resilience, and post-Hurricane Maria recovery efforts. You’ll meet scientists, policymakers, urban planners, and artists working to shape Puerto Rico’s future.

During this session, we’ll provide an overview of the program, discuss the application process, and share details on scholarships and funding opportunities to help make this experience possible.

📅 When? Monday, February 17th @ Noon
