Learn about our faculty-directed program in Spain - "Spanish Culture Through Food, Language, Literature, and Art".  The faculty directors will be hosting an info session November 30th from 12:30 to 1:30pm at the Study Abroad Office in University Hall or on zoom to share more about this program.  The program in Alcalá de Henares, right outside of Madrid, welcomes UIC students taking upper-level Spanish courses as well as those still learning the language. Students will have the opportunity to complete general Ed requirements through an interdisciplinary food, literature, and culture course and the Basic Language Track or take a deep dive into linguistics and literature with 200 and 300 upper level courses towards their major/ minor. Socio-cultural excursions in and around Madrid will give you insight into the historical and modern day influences on Spanish culture. Your studies will culminate in a capstone trip to Andalucía (Córdoba and Granada). If you're interested in applying- apply now!
